If you're a devoted dog parent or just looking to enhance your pup's manners while supporting a great cause, you're in for a treat! We're excited to announce our upcoming Dog Obedience Training Class at Green Camp UMC starting on May 21. This engaging, 6-week course is designed for dogs of all ages and their owners, providing an excellent opportunity to bond, learn, and have fun together.

Led by the experienced and compassionate trainer Paula Everett, the class promises to equip both you and your furry friend with essential obedience skills and proper socialization techniques. Whether your pup is a bouncy beginner or a more experienced canine in need of refinement, Paula’s tailored approach ensures that every participant benefits. Expect sessions that cover everything from basic commands like sit, stay, and come, to more advanced behaviors that can help manage everyday challenges.

The training sessions will take place at Green Camp UMC from 6:30–7:30 p.m. each week, creating a relaxed yet structured environment where learning becomes a joy. Not only will you witness a transformation in your dog’s behavior, but you'll also be giving back to the community—half of the $40 class fee will be donated directly to the Marion Area Humane Society. This means that every class you attend supports local rescue efforts and helps provide care for other deserving animals.

Spaces are limited, so early registration is encouraged! Visit greencampumc.org/program/dogtraining to fill out the online interest form, or call (740) 528-2325 for more details. We can’t wait to see you and your four-legged friend step into a journey of improved behavior, stronger bonding, and community support. If you have any questions or need additional details about the program, feel free to ask—we’re here to help!
