Remember to always be alert of scams on the internet. There have recently been an uptick in reported incidents of cyber phishing attempts in the church. Please be mindful of messages you receive in email and Facebook messenger. GCUMC and its staff will never contact you via phone, email, text message, mail, or Facebook Messenger to ask for money or gift cards to a business. If you receive a message claiming to be from GCUMC and don't recognize the sender or if the message seems questionable, ignore and delete the message immediately. If the message seems unsafe but is coming from the address of a sender you know within the church, please let that person know so we can work to secure their account. Never interact with the message by clicking on links or images, or downloading documents from the message.
